The church is again doing the study “Experiencing God” and if you have an interest in this study please contact the pastor. The Midland Group continues to meet on Monday afternoons and is studying the Book of Acts this year. The church is also doing the study “Stranger on the Road to Emmaus” as a discipleship program for new believers or people that want to strengthen their faith. If you are interested in any of these please call or e-mail the Pastor.
Our church is very active in church planting and there has been interest expressed in the communities of Collingwood, Gravenhurst, Cochrane, Port Carling and Parry Sound. If you are interested in being a church planter please contact the pastor.
Beacon Baptist Church want to thank the team from First Baptist Church Waynesboro Georgia and the clown from Cuba Missouri who assisted us at the fall fair last year and helped out in the Antiques and Collectables booth.
We now have an Awanna Club that meets upstairs in the Royal Canadian Legion at 6:45 PM every Monday evening. This is a Bible-based club for ALL boys and girls from K to grade 6. It combines games and sports with biblical knowledge to produce a healthy, challenging, learning environment.
We invite everyone to a special Awana church service on Sunday, May 6 at 11 AM. Children who were active in our Awana club over the winter will be involved in the church service that day. Our Vacation Bible school will run from July 16 through the 19th from 9 AM in the morning until noon. The theme this year is ZAPPED. Please call the pastor for more information.
